Anybody who thinks that touch screens have only existed since the first iPhone conquered the market in 2007 is wrong. In fact, this technology was launched as early as the 1980s and has since become a successful part of our everyday lives. Whether for smartphones, ticket machines at a bus stop or the control panel for a coffee machine, all these things want us to touch them gently so that they can provide us with their services.
However, one touch screen is not automatically the same as any other. This technology can be divided into resistive and capacitive touch screens. The difference here is that one screen responds to pressure and the other one to a change in the electric field.
