Does one size fit all? If you ask us, definitely not. The panel PC should be as individual as your brand and the machine or production unit into which it is integrated.

We have been consciously focusing on the topic of sustainability and know that it takes more than just environmental certificates to become green(er). It is a journey & we are learning more about it every day.
The development work already lays the foundation for sustainable products. The InduSmart panel PC BlackLine is Made in Germany and consists of both durable and high-quality components. However, if something does develop a fault, it is easy to repair or replace many components – including the display, PC, antenna, USB hub or back cover. It will also be possible to upgrade the panel PC with a second display and a keyboard (shelf) soon. This saves money and environmental resources.

Safety first!
We have integrated various safety precautions in our product line so that an “oops” does not create a serious “SOS” situation. Machines and production equipment can pose significant risks for people and the environment. The German Statutory Accident Insurance Scheme listed more than 34,800 notifiable accidents in its statistics about occupational accidents in conjunction with operating a machine or some production equipment in 2020 – and 21 of them caused fatalities.*
Cybersecurity is also playing an important role in engineering and plant construction. This is why we have protected access to the PC interfaces with a cover, which first needs to be intricately unscrewed.* The option of user authentication via an NFC module, which also minimizes the risk of any unauthorized machine operations, offers additional safety.

* If our customers prefer an open USB interface, this level of safety is not available.

That was our vision for the InduSmart® panel PC series.
Perfect interaction between the product design & product intelligence forms the basis for this.
The increasing shortage of specialist workers is a driving force in this process too because there is a need for new solutions and changes. People need to be able to understand and operate machines and production equipment simply and quickly. Short familiarization phases are necessary – instead of time-consuming training courses – for unskilled workers too.

Long search times within the menu are also a thing of the past thanks to six quick selection buttons – and this reduces work times. One pleasant side-effect here is that this feature also saves space on the display because digital hotkeys are no longer necessary.
